Mum seems to be the word thus far regarding at least six individuals that were shot in the South Chicago neighborhood on Englewood on Sunday night, December 20th.
Originally, reports stated that seven people were injured, but this was later revised to six, all shot in a van after leaving a nightclub late Sunday. Not surprisingly, the shootings seem to be gang related.
The van left the nightclub when an SUV drove up along side, one or more passengers in the SUV opening fire on the fan round Midnight near the 6500 South Wood Street area.
Two victims were taken to an Oak Lawn hospital in critical condition, two were taken to Stroeger Hospital in critical condition, and three went to Holy Cross in serious/critical condition.
