On June 10, police arrested 20-year-old Eley London of Philadelphia after she allegedly tried to hire someone to kill her baby’s father, Corey Jerome White, for $1000.
After getting into an argument with the father of her child, London posted a status on Facebook saying: “I will pay somebody a stack to kill my baby father.”
Even more shocking was the alleged first response. Investigators say 18-year-old Tim Bynum replied to London’s message and said that he was up to the task, agreeing to carry out the hit as long as he was paid up front.
White’s mother alerted authorities after seeing the Facebook post and alerting her son.
London was charged with conspiracy to commit murder. She is currently being held on $250,000 bail.
Bynum was arrested on June 12 and charged with attempted murder and a weapons charge. He is currently being held on $350,000 bail.
